This course teaches you the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty.
The course applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and rescue breathing techniques on manikins.
Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.
On successful completion of this lesson you will be awarded the following certificates as a digital copy.
This course can be delivered with varying amounts of online and face-to-face contact, in the workplace, learner’s preferred space or in our Onslow Chamber of Commerce training room.
Online Training with Face to Face Assessment – 1 hour (minimum) face to face assessment with the addition of 3 hours of self-paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course. This delivery mode is best suited to those individuals who have completed a face-to-face course in the recent past and are just refreshing their skills or prefer the online learning environment.
Performance tasks and practical scenarios:
Total First Aid Solutions recommends a 3 year refresher on this course. This timeframe is a guide only for the online learning course. It is recommended that renewal for this course is undertaken every 3 years, with the additional requirement of updating the CPR component every 12 months.
